Is anyone here familiar with replacing a bearing on a Whitlock steering system? I can't find any detailed diagram that would indicate how to disassemble (I have removed the screws and it still doesn't come apart, so I don't want to use brute force).

Lewmar (which bought Whitlock) doesn't seem to have retained the "support" staff who would know. They send inquiries to the UK and then it falls into the black hole.

PS - I have a parts kit that contains new bearings.
