t. There are so many screws that have to go. Unfortunately, after 50+ years, bronze screws become something between wood and bronze. The multi tool with a carbide blade will be handy cutting the screws that won't come out. I've been practicing plunge cutting with it.
Handy here with a patch(template) to trace a cut out of rotted trim.
It's a tricky tool to control. Getting the right blade to stay on the line without butchering the surface,...is doable but takes practice. I hate to throw a good piece of trim away just because the bottoms rotted.
