....of the year it's probably hard to tell. But my experience with half a dozen moored boats year around over time has been very little growth except a slime ring when good bottom paint is used. In Astoria where the water changes with the tide and is influenced by the river but well below the fresh water line of the river, I hauled every two years and frankly never cleaned the bottom in between times.
