The view camera was a cherry and brass beauty, but the SLR Graflex was my favorite. It was the type of camera used to take those photos of the vehicles that seem to be leaning in the direction of travel. Shutter was a slit in a curtain, pulled by a spring from top to bottom across the film - or from the bottom of the image to the top. Still have the 6x6 Mamiyaflex with its case of goodies, but I'm not sure why.. I've now got a Pentax DSLR that I use when I can't do the shot with my Lumix TZ-4.
