I don't have a high-end camera now. I'd love to go to have a DSLR or high-end through the lens compact, but when it comes right down to it the camera on your phone is always ready for capturing shots spur of the moment. I bought a midpriced waterproof camera thats only a 3X telephoto point and shoot. It takes decent images and 720 P or 1080 P 30 frames per second video, and that's really all I need for casual shots. If I bought a high-end camera I probably wouldn't have it with me most of the time when opportunities happen.
