About 14 years ago I had an issue with the light not being consistent. Steiner replaced the whole binocular with a new set -- NO question, no charge except I had to ship the unit to THEM (they shipped me back the new ones).
Then, last year, I had an issue where one of my crew decided to slam the binoculars really hard. The compass then could "rotate" a few degrees -- no leaks, just a bit loose. There were some "particles" which you could faintly see on the affected side. Steiner repaired the units for free -- I only had to ship the units to them. Cleaned the lenses, replaced the compass battery, and the binocular came back with the case looking new.
I can't speak more highly about Steiner USA.
