• Back to a new cockpit: It took me a day to fit this old manhole into the cockpit sole.

  • Is that flush when underway or is there a shallow rain catcher area? Deceptive in pic.
    • All flush. The lid/cover is recessed for 3/4" thick decking, laid inside the pan.
      • Ah, of course! That tells it all. What will you use to hold the decking in place?
        • The old pieces were screwed in place - from below. I'm thinking adhesive.
          • That'd be what I'd do.
