As far as the performance, I really can't say anything. We struggled with the in-mast furling at the end of last season and never got it to function properly. Between that and the weather we ended up hauling early and just calling it a season. I have the broker and the brokerage rigger lined up this spring, they believe that the rig is not tuned properly with too much pre-bend in the mast. The mast was designed for a traditional rig and modified for in-mast furling to meet the demand from customers. I found an addendum from the spar people on how to set the furling mast up which is different than the instructions in the owner's manual. It was buried in the boat papers under the nav station.
