We used a braided copper strap to a thru-hull, which worked fine.
However, these rot so here I was in the eastern med cruising and no ground.
I tried all those different lengths of wire, and it did not work. Well, cruising
is sometimes makeshift. I clamped all those wires to a 3 ft piece of copper pipe
then connected the copper pipe to the thru-hull. it proved to be a great ground.
