Yes, the thought has crossed my mind. I can carry about 9'6" in Davis on my boat so the Shellback doesn't work. I like the flat bottom stability of the Nitshell and possible use with a motor. I have the big sister, a Poohduck, but that was all too often too big for dinghy docks and moving around. ( great fun to sail though! I've also considered using the main on a Nutshell but the Poohduck main is 65 sq ft and the nutshell shows 55 sq ft. Dunno if that is for the little one or the nine and a half footer.

I'll be out there Thurs and fri this week on a 'welfare' visit to the new boat. Know of any 'available' nutshells?
