Larry, you're right that the glass is thin. The good news is that a dinghy won't ever come alongside. Access is best between the hulls at the transom. Had a hard dinghy on the last one for a while without problems. The Nutshell is the best blend of aesthetics, usefulness and minimises 'corner' issues as well as anything, esp. If it has a nice all around rub strake.
