A hard dinghy might damage your topsides

Given that the MC38 is designed to be light I'm sure it has thin skinned foam cored topsides. A hard bang against the dinghy bow or transom might produce dents.
Be cautious. Even the transom corner of a PortaBote could do it, and they have some "give".
