This photo is the ladder in Passage. I made the top step fixed in the 'handles' and the bottom step removable, held in place by half oval slide bolts, so I could access my inflatable roll up Zodiac under the cockpit. Also, the bottom step being removable made extra space for my filler pieces to convert to a 7' athwartship double bed. Very cozy at anchor.
On the left side you can see my sunbrella fabric 'dresser' in which I kept clothing. Had one in both quarter berths. While I did all the woodwork, a girlfriend at the time did the cushions and hanging items.
After awhile she got smart and dumped me and went back to the midwest for her second masters degree. No doubt a wise choice on her part as I proved repeatedly to skirt the line between workaday and ne'er do well as time went on.
