Agreed that it is rare to anchor in deep water, but is occasionally necessary
We have anchored in 160 feet of water in the azores and in 130 feet in Norway.
We have 60 mm (say 200 ft) 3/8" chain with about 150 m rope behind that.
There is also the potential to anchor in OK water and drag into the deep, and have to recover the chain.

Thus I want to be able to lift the full chain plus anchor in free water, and paid Lofrans for a winch that is supposed to do that.
