The VHF NOAA forecast for the Gulf of Maine,
In Response To: Current Conditions Southwest Harbor, ME ()
when we crossed back from Nova Scotia Sunday night, was for 30 kt winds and 17 foot waves. What we actually had, as predicted on PassageWeather, was 10 kt winds and 2 foot seas. But then the Gulf of Maine is a big place.
