Half the cockpit well is full of well lashed, 5 gallon jerry cans of diesel....

Do you think anyone will ever design a sailboat with adequate tankage, or is it just a case of feeling insecure without seeing "just a few extra gallons" out where one can keep an eye on them?
Sometimes, I think if sailors were masters of large freighters, we would be seeing five gallon jerry cans strapped on the deck of every ship we see....lol
