My main has the same webbing and D-rings through the reef points as yours and I slip them over the rams horn to reef. It is very simple and quick. I have a jackline running a couple of feet or so up the luff from the tack which allows the main to lower past the slider stopper. The problem is that the jackline occasionally catches on the rams horn when I'm raising the main. It's not a big deal, I just lower a bit, clear the jackline then finish hoisting but it is a bit of a PITA.
