I had to leave for a week or so while we were in Georgetown and it was blowing almost 30 every day, so I got a mooring from St. Francis. We have a six foot draft so had to play the tides on the way in to the mooring field, but once there we could barely tell there was a breeze. Crossing from Stocking Island to Georgetown, on the other hand, was like taking a bath. We ended up putting our swimsuits on and our clothes in a dry bag. This was only because of the blow (during Family Island Regatta). Anyway, the holes are nice, the price was reasonable, and there were plenty of other cruisers around to watch Pelican.
