    • We stripped the coating off.

    • Had non coated made 6 yrs ago and no problem with abrasion at stanchions.
      • If your stanchions have guides (i.e., the holes are lined through the stanchion)
        • I used 2" pieces of reinforced tubing from Lowes that fit snugly in the stanchion holes (nm)

  • Voice in dissent - I like vinyl coated
    • I agree -- think egg slicer anaology... Synthetic might be better
      • Uppers I use Amsteel, lowers use bare wire. (nm)
