and the amas (floats) are lower than center hull deck level, so the slope will continue and snow/ice loading will actually be less with a cover than without, because accumulation will tend to slide off.

(The amas lower to create more flotation outboard and lift the center hull about 6 inches when the boat is folded, thereby increasing form stability when folded in a slip.)
