It's an Island Nautical I think and same deal, all the stitching went this year when I installed it for the cooler months. I'm not sure how old it is exactly as it was on the boat when I bought it in '98. I don't think I'll replace it though, I think I'm going to take that money and get a hard top dodger with the sunbrella sides.

I do notice a difference in the quality of sunbrella fabric, not sure why. I've tried to keep consistent through the years always getting the fabric of the dodger, which is a Sunbrella in Mocha. The fabric itself of the dodger is in pretty good shape still. I built a steering wheel console cover maybe 5 years ago from sunbrella and it probably should have been replaced last years. My sail cover is 3 years old and looks pretty bad and is getting thin on the top. My bimini on the other hand looks brand new.
