I had been using the Wave RV for the past few years, with mixed results... but this past summer something went wrong with it, and I didn't want to replace it, as others have noted, that company is a PITA to deal with...

Came across these guys on eBay, and decided to give it a shot:

So far, I'm impressed... When it comes to computers, I need stuff to be dead simple, and this one certainly is... I use a Mac, installation and setup was a breeze... Last week I tried it while sailing down the Pungo River, and picked up a linksys connection, I doubt I would have there with my old Wave RV... Really nice folks to deal with, when I hadn't left feedback for my eBay purchase within a couple of days, I received a very cordial email from them asking if there was any problem or they could be of assistance, etc. Seems like they've got their act together...

Again, I'm no expert on this stuff, and haven't done a side by side comparison with the WAve, but I'm happy with this one so far, and I expect it will do quite well in the Bahamas (should I make it there, of course (grin))...
