I've had better luck with Raymarine than with Garmin.

When my 10 year old control pack 300 went out, Raymarine said it can't be fixed but offered me a brand new latest model along with a new auto pilot head for 1/2 the price. I went for it.
When my 7 year old GPSMAP chartplotter went out they offered me $100.00 off list on a new model. Hell, I can get a better price than that at West Marine.
