but then I am on a sailboat. If keeping the boat off the rocks was dependent on a GPS update of 1/2 second vs. 1-2 seconds (which is about the iPhone rate) then I believe I fully deserve to be on the rocks, at the very least to prevent me from being a hazard to others.
