up as far as Caleta Partida for a few weeks. The first night out of La Paz we picked a beautiful anchorage called Puerto Ballena. We tossed out the anchor in 15 feet, took off in the dinghy and didn't return until about 5 PM. It had been a flat calm day with zero wind. On the way back we noticed the wind start to pick up and by the time we got back it was 20 knots right into the anchorage. I didn't want to up anchor and try to find another spot in the dark so I just let out another 100 feet of chain and went to bed. It was "Victory at Sea" all night long!It was one of those " Oh yeah, that's what they were talking about!" moments that you learn from. We hope all is well with you guys and the cat.
