Have done it several times when backing down at 3/4 throttle at 5:1 scope in mud. 44 lb. Rocna, engine is rated 59HP and I have a 3-blade folding Volvo-Penta prop... so if the mud is soft enough and there is enough power it will drag. It's good but not "f_magic".
I was never able to drag the 35 lb. Manson Supreme in my prior boat, but it had only 20HP. Don't have the time or interest to do a comparison test in the same boat, same place. I think the Manson and Rocna are about the same, but the Manson has better hard bottom penetration (much sharper tip) and better quality galvanizing. Rocna claims it is stronger but the Manson is plenty strong enough. Would be very surprised if the lighter Manson 35 would hold better than the heavier Manson 44 under any circumstance.
