was in Chamela. There seems to be a hard crust overlay, possibly a few uncovered rocks?, in a little deeper water, and we just couldn't get it to dig in, so moved a bit closer to shore. There was a dolphin that welcomed us by swimming around our anchor line, so that made it a bit more interesting. It was just a little crowded, and we decided to try deeper instead of further laterally from the Palapas, but that didn't work. Had exercised the Delta already around the Channel Islands with no problems there, but issues there are kelp, eel grass, pebbles & small stones, so a bit different. I still carry 4 anchors anyway (Bruce, Delta, Manson Supreme, Danforth) with the Manson Supreme and Danforth at the ready (I have a stern anchor locker) but am getting old enough not to want to deploy them all.
