Ever since we upgraded our radar to a Raymarine C-series and Navionics we only use the computer for 'Airmail. (silly huh?)
We still have a number of computer based programs but just don't use them anymore.
Faguai has a a trial program that works for 30 days and works with Navionics cards. We can theoretically plug the Navionics flash card that's in the C-series into the reader and it should work fine for the 30 days once we initiate the installation. Easily enough to get us somewhere without the hassle of pulling out the paper. Haven't tried it as it's a one time deal. Once we load the Faguai the clock is ticking so I have to believe it will work. If it doesn't,,,,,,,, we will go a different way.
Raymarine has a free companion program for the C-series that doesn't expire and works with Navionics chart cards (played with it for a while). If our C-series goes out all you do is pull out the Navionics chart flash card and insert it into a USB reader for the computer and we have all the Navionics charts and a plotting program. The free version doesn't interface with a GPS so we would need to move the cursor to the reading our backup GPS shows and place a mark. No biggie. That's our third backup chartplotter.
If both the computer and the C-Series goes out it's paper charts and the GPS. There are times when I muse that it does go down but then the radar does also. That I don't like.
