Maybe Craig is rushing but I'm sure his idea of what he wants is also being refined by knowing more of what is available. I work with a guy that is looking into buying a boat in BC, over 2000 miles from here. He started out low in price and big in boat which meant boats in need of a little (or a lot of) TLC. Over the last couple of months he made offers, had surveys done and backed out of several boats because of major findings in the surveys. It looks like he has a keeper this time but the price has gone up and the boat size has come down. It was a rather expensive process for him with surveys and travel but he learned a lot in the process and it looks like he is ending up with a boat very well suited to him although quite different from those he was originally looking at.
