Are you badmouthing the Jeanneau just because it's French or

have you been out on one long enough to know whether it will sail well. We sailed pretty far in our Jeanneau Sun Fizz and it had a lot of sailing performance to recommend her. We consistently sailed faster and better than other makes of boats of the same size/waterline, and it wasn't our skill that enabled us to do well. On our trip from Ecuador to Easter Island we arrived four days faster than our friends who were in a boat of the same size as ours, different make. And I believe they were better sailors than we were. Jeanneau made really good sailing boats even if they were French.

Maybe you just don't like GRP boats. Okay, but they hold up extremely well even when neglected. A wooden boat or a steel boat would not do as well under serious neglect as a GRP boat. So either come up with some good reasons for your comments or please keep them a bit lower key than that blast.
