A previous boat of mine had a strobe (flashing) for the anchor light. This made it incredibly easy to find our boat at night in a crowded anchorage. I have seen some LED flashlights with strobe settings recently. Wondering if there is any reason I should not turn one of these on while attached to a railing or other part of the boat to help find her. Would people think it was a distress signal, or find it too distracting to have out there?
