that the cab drivers in Mexico hang under their cabs wheel wells. It sticks our like a sore thumb. You can't miss it. I screwed up and didn't hang it up once when we got into La Cruz and went ashore. We stayed to long at Philo's and, of course, it was a moonless night and no flashlight. It was right at the start of the season and the anchorage was full. We wandered around for quite some time before we stumbled upon our boat. No pun intended.... You could hear the other dinghies tearing along but couldn't see a thing so we weren't the only ones who forgot a light. Back in the late 80's in St Thomas the D P and R (Department of Parks and Recreation)who had jurisdiction over the harbor started making everyone either carry a flashlight or install running lights because of all the crashes that had been happening. You should have heard the up roar! It was like they were trying to take away their guns or something.
