I was in a charter cat and during the day we were trolling -- and with lines out I tacked and failed to being the boat around, so it backed over the line and a line snagged on one prop. No problem it's a cat so we sailed the remainder of the day and only used the other engine. At the end of the day we anchored on the lee of a large unpopulated mangrove island, and I put on the snorkel and mask and went in to unwind about 100+ feet of monofilament. The water on the reef side is very clear but in that place was very murky, maybe 2 feet visibility. I was nervous about snakes because of the low visibility and we were so close to the mangroves (about 100 feet) in about 5 ft depth. It was only later I found out that Belize also has salt water crocks!
