    • I thought lighter colored Sunbrella lasts longer than darker colored ?
      • Dark colors get really hot but...
        • PS. Northern latitudes need less UV protection than southern.

            • What about tanbark sails... I have heard they last longer

  • A loosely furled sail and a good blow can produce that result...
  • Furling jibs ALWAYS start to unravel above the clew...
    • Jon is correct ... Which is why when we furl our big headsail ...
    • How about simply running a spare halyard around the furled sail?
