and had a discussion about on here back in November. The whole project turned out to be far easier than I feared. I used Trident 101 and it when on so easy that I sometimes worried that it wasn't tight enough.
1. Clean and flush the system out well. Vinegar helps.
2. Cut and slash the old hose out. Use heat on the couplings. Very carfully with a heat gun or use a hair dryer. I used the heat gun çause I don;t have a hair dryer. If you use a pick on the fittings, make sure you don't damage them or you'll need to replace them. Particularly the plastic ones.
3. Put the new hose on. If you need lubricant, KY jelly works great. Also use heat, but carefully, as needed.
It's a piece of cake.
