Hi Max ... this one was well recommended on this Board when I did ...

my research a while ago. I ultimately decided against it, for the sole reason of moisture. I bought a nice little Honeywell Ceramic 1500W heater, that plugs in, but it works great and I use it to take chill off when the Honda is going. I got it from Amazon for under $30. I can run it off the Inverter at low setting, for short run times, which usually is all we need. We don't use it that much, only when it is cold, and it is very effective at quickly providing warmth.

I ultimately decided if we start sailing in colder climates, I would look to some kind of permanent, AND VENTED, source.

I figured if we needed longer run times, I wouldn't want the fumes and especially the moisture that comes with that. When it's cold there's already way too much moisture below. Our Tropics cruising quite different than Maine and Newfoundland, so your needs will be different. We also bought some nice 100% merino wool blankets ! Those are really nice ! Live happily ever ever in Merino Wool ! Go out an buy yourself and your sweetie some I/O BIO or SmartWool merino wool clothing, take it from someone who lives in cold winters, this stuff in amazing ... way better than Patagonia capilene or fleece ... all natural to boot.

Cheers Max, John
