12" high by 8" deep by 12" long IIRC and I may not...but I digress. I used an ax and a box to store my fuel which was almost entirely presto logs cut into wafers and ignited with BBQ lighter fluid. Depending on the fire size and length I wanted I'd stack the 1" to 3" wafers of presto log two on the bottom, one on the top like a pyramid. Touch it off and..presto..heat. I had this stove built and lined the bottom with Diablo splits of fire brick. I love the dry heat but it can be a bit messy to handle fuel/ash stuff. At least the fuel stuff is not liquid so it spills, not gooey so it sticks, etc. Just a simple solid material mess..so to speak. Broom and dustpan stuff.
Of course it would burn any solid fuel, I once used coal a few times to see how it went, lotta ash which was granular in nature and its mess was too messy for me both going into the stove and coming out.
