I Thought They All Sailed Better On One Tack or the Other ...

seriously, my Cal 27 seemed a little quicker on port tack. I saw no difference on Indigo (P-28-2). PS: Spent a week on the Chesapeake in May on a Sabre 30-III. First time of significance on board in ten years. I can tell you one thing, I was one sore puppy. All those muscle and joints used for running around on deck were really in for a shock . Amaziingly, it took almost no time to relearn sail trim even theugh the charter boats sails, especially the main were pretty poor. I've never cruised there but I can see the attraction. We (Gail and I and two other boats rafted and had a little cove just N of Shaw Bay on the Wye East to ourselves for two nights. I thought I was over this
