Yes, large #1 genoa for light air

My #1 genoa is 162% so switching down to the 115% is a big jump, I call it a #3 but really it's more of a working jib. When I'm racing I use the 162% up to about 14~15 knots then switch to the 115%. I really should have a #2 genoa at around 135% to bridge the gap but my pocket book is holding me back. With the 115% I carry the full main up to about 20 knots. When I cruise with my family I rarely use the big genoa unless it's a real drifter. With the family on board I put in a reef around 15~17 knots and the second reef around 25~30. I have sailed reasonably comfortably in 45 knots with just the double reefed main and no headsail; I was surprised how well balanced the boat was even close to the wind.
