I'm about to start a new project of making weather cloths. We're tired of the random wave slap that on a good sailing day we get where water sprays into the cockpit and think this will cut a lot of that down. I've looked on the dock for ideas and they're grommetted from 3 - 8' apart and nothing fancy. I'm thinking of adding a pocket for some lines and covering about 120% the length of the cockpit. Any gotcha's I don't know about. Will be using Sunbrella and know that it's only good for a few years. Will also be using the thread that will outlast the Sunbrella.
Thanks for any advice.
