After a while you just realize that
In Response To: Getting unplugged. ()

"it is what it is" and just deal with what comes along. We find that being "un-plugged" is very relaxing. The world is going to do what it going to do weather you like it or not so we just take it as it comes. We're looking foreward to November when we head south again just so we won't be bothered with all the "stuff" that goes on anyway. That's what cruising is all about. Sure, we have to deal with the bank accounts and the usual things to get by but most of the hype goes away when you're off the dock. You have to deal with a different set of issues but it's all real day to day "stuff" with very little "news" which isn't really news anyway. It's just what the talking heads and business managers want you to think is news. Just take care of the big snakes and let the rest sort itself out. That's what we try for anyway and it usually works.
