I have the iPad 2, and find that I am using it more than my laptop

Most all of the National and Local news companies are creating Apps for the iPads and other tablets. For the National News, one that I watch, is the "Nightly News" by Brian Williams. The App loads the news in the individual segments that were shown on TV. You can skip over the segments that you do not want to view.......or re-watch the ones that you have more interest in viewing again.

And then our Local NBC station here in Kansas City has their own app that shows their local nightly news, weather and sports.
CBS, ABC, Time and others have their own apps.
