You plug in when you can and you are in Heaven when not. We're currently in the states and plugged in. When in a marina we're sometimes plugged in sometimes not. But we're barely ever connected as once we were and that's all good. The insanity of politics and the incessant banging on the same news story is ground zero for migraines and stress. As you're forced to stay unplugged you will find less of a desire to plug all the way back in but you will want to "inhale" every so often. And until you get far enough away from civilization you'll have the ability to get the internet. Even in Kuna Yala, Panama; almost 1/3 of the area you can have internet if you wish.
