In Response To: Heading up the Royal River for haulout ()
() Yesterday the shoe, strap and quadrant came off much too easily. I had the rudder ready to drop in under 3 hours. The real fun began once I realized the prop shaft needed to come out too. The rest of the day and most of this morning was spent laying across the top of the engine, reaching into the bilge, trying to coax the shaft out of the coupling.
