I still have people ask me for directions to a restaurant in town that's been closed for nearly 2 decades. 
Some guides are still out there....
I would think though that online should have the edge over print. But that's only if the tools that will channel that current info, work.
I agree, outdated online info will be worse than outdated print. Thanks. Your experience working through this changing period in your field is great stuff to me. Where's it all going?
