The Maine Maritime Academy sailing team representing the USA at the Student Yachting World Cup in France showed that they can be competitive with the best in the world. While the final standings don't reflect that ( 11th place out of 15) they did manage some respectable finishes. All in all it was a wonderfull experience for all of them and the parents that went. New friends were made, good food, and lots of examples of good sportsmanship.
