No it shouldn't drip at all

() When you first splash you should have compressed it enough to let a little water in to lubricate the mating surfaces. After that there should no no drips. I'd suggest you slide it a little closer (maybe another 1/8") to stop the drip.

- Yes, just installed one and it leaked.
- You do have a vibration isolator on the shaft?
