() Not sure I do anything before calling. Before pushing on more, I'd recheck the 1/4 mark by backing off to see if it is right. Do you have the instruction/caution that came with seal? I am thinking that something got in the` seal and need cleaning. When moving the boat it sounds like the seal was seating itself that why I think that something was between the seal faces.

- You do have a vibration isolator on the shaft?
