In the past we've caught floating pot warp on one of the three Mickey Mouse ear shaped prop blades when tacking in light air. It is a weird feeling, ghosting along nicely then realizing you're no longer going anywhere. Usually it's no big deal, just go below and give the prop shaft a spin by hand to shed the warp. The worst wraps that we've experienced have been scraps of poly line hidden in a raft of floating weed. Excluding the centerboard, the underbody of our boat is similar to yours, Tom. We usually slide right over toggle lines. But I really like this new sinking line.
I see that your boat's bottom is nearly as foul as mine. In my case I'm not sure if I should blame the quality of the paint or the lack of use late in the season.
