Blogger Dave. When I first came to the CSBB, you were a passionate sailor, and avid sailboat racer.
There are a lot of "former" sailors that are now enjoying powerboats
A friend who had a Grand Banks said that it wasn't unusual for owners to ask what kind of sailboat did you have before.
Yeah but we don't exactly all meet up at Volleyball beach, or what have you.
That's an interesting question.
You have me thinking. I'm not interested in this motorsailer as a boat, but as a liveaboard,...
Hold on, check the 52' Laurent Giles Staysail Auxiliary Motorsailer Ketch
that's whole lot of love
You would spend your whole life Larry!
Tom that boat is a black hole.... money and time.
You're probably right.
These old ladies have only become interesting to me
Holy crap!
Listen to you!
If you jump into something, you can jump back out too.
Nice view. I get it.
Yeah but... yeah but... yeah but....
What, everybody doesn't do that? ;-D
It's never really a good day
Double planked hull...
Should be under the Alden motorsailer
Those are some of the upfront questions, I'd have an experienced wooden boat surveyor do that work.
Yeah but the hull is epoxy sheathed...
Have I got a deal for you
Another good one for sure, a great deal. How long did you live onboard Dan.
It was just time to do it.
At the risk of overgeneralizing, I think there's a difference between "trawler folk" and "go fast" powerboaters
What is that boat?

I actually have been looking at getting one.
